Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Staff Augmentation Duration: 53 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: Multiple 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM Experience: Open to recent graduates and less than 1 year of experience in skilled nursing facility or long-term care experience. License: RN License Certifications: CPR/BLS Card, Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card Must-Have: - 7-year background check including name clearance check - TB Skin Test - Hepatitis B vaccination or declination of offered vaccine - Competency Tests - Drug Test - COVID Vaccines Card Description: Administer medication and perform treatments on an assigned unit as ordered by the physician and within the scope of license. Receive and deliver a variety of information regarding residents' medical, social, functional, and other needs. Participate in receiving and giving shift reports. Communicate with residents, families, and staff as necessary to ensure residents receive appropriate care. Perform the initial nursing assessment on newly admitted residents. Assist with the development of assessments, ongoing quarterly reviews, and care plans. Maintain appropriate clinical and administrative documentation regarding diagnosis, assessments, treatment, and client progress. Lead and perform limited supervision of subordinate staff. Assist as needed with direct resident care for Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, personal hygiene, and mobility. Conduct and participate in in-service training and staff development programs. Utilize concepts and tools for problem-solving and continuous work/process improvements. Demonstrate knowledge of gerontological/geriatric nursing theory and practices. Understand residents' changing medical, physical, and psychological care needs. Apply practices of team nursing and developing treatment plans for resident care. Implement effective oral and written communication skills. Build interpersonal relationships and connect with residents and families. Learn, implement, and monitor methods for continuous improvement and efficiency.
