This opportunity runs from mid-August to late May, providing the chance to work collaboratively with educators, families, and students to support academic and developmental success. With three positions available, you’ll be joining a team dedicated to empowering learners and ensuring their unique needs are understood and addressed.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician certification is required
• Proven experience conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments in a school setting
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local policies related to special education assessments
• Excellent skills in communication, report writing, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer and interpret educational and psychological assessments for students referred for evaluation
• Collaborate closely with instructional staff, campus administrators, and families to develop individualized educational plans
• Present assessment findings and recommendations at IEP meetings and other relevant sessions
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
• Provide consultative support and resources to teachers and staff regarding classroom strategies and accommodations
