Job Details Job Location: Wichita, KS 67217 Position: Data Entry Clerk Salary Range: $18.00 - $19.00 Hourly Shift: 7am - 3:30pm Monday through Friday Starting Wage Range: $18 - $19 per hour with three scheduled wage increases in the first year Summary Responsible for entering and updating customer orders, maintaining accurate forecasts, and managing changes related to pricing, product nomenclature, quantities, due dates, and shipping details. Promotes and utilizes standard safety practices. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Enter customer orders into MRP system Update forecast in MRP system for all customers Update customer orders in MRP system when changes in price, nomenclature, quantities, due dates and ship-to addresses occur Set up new customer order files Process paperwork for shipment, credit memos and invoicing Process transfers and receipts Assist in maintaining department files Education and/or Experience 2+ years of data entry experience High School Diploma or equivalent Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong math skills Must be quality conscious Moderate organizational skills Moderate time management skills Strong data entry skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Strong computer skills Moderate verbal communication skills Moderate written communication skills Skill in customer service with the ability to identify customer concerns, and refer to the appropriate staff, as necessary, to ensure a satisfactory resolution Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while meeting critical deadlines Ability to multi‑task Strong attention to detail Understanding of MRP system Ability to exercise independent judgement Maintain a professional work atmosphere by being courteous, respectful and non‑interfering with customers, co‑workers, and management Physical Demands Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this job.
