Location: Fond du Lac Tribal Center – Onsite

Reports To: IT Service Desk Manager

Probationary Period: 90 days – Full time

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (hourly)

Classification: Child Related CB

Driver's License: Level 1 – Driver's License Required.

Rate of Pay: $20.45 - $23.01

Responsibilities

• Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.
• Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems.
• Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.
• Responsible for working in a rotation on the Service Desk with other Technical Support specialist staff.
• Set up equipment for employee use, performing or insuring proper installation of cable, operating systems, and appropriate software.
• Answer users' inquiries regarding computer software and hardware operation to resolve problems.
• Provides answers to users by identifying problems, researching answers, and guiding users through corrective steps.
• Provides a high level of customer service to internal and external customers.
• Performs a variety of IT related tasks.
• Appropriate work attire is required.
• Must attend all mandatory department trainings and/or meetings.
• Ensures confidentiality of financial records and all records for employees and/or clients.
• Displays a responsive and professional manner in promptly responding to all requests, complaints, and problems.
• Recognizes that each employee is a representative of the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and is responsible for demonstrating courtesy, respect, and sensitivity to the needs of all others, including visitors and co-workers.
• Represents the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and the department in a positive and professional manner in the community.
• Required to maintain proper attendance including reporting to work on time in accordance with applicable policies.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
• Participate in an on-call rotation, providing after-hours support as needed.
• Due to changes and modifications in the job from time to time, employees are required to be flexible and assume other responsibilities assigned by management as deemed necessary.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License issued in the US is required.
• A.A. or A.A.S. in the field or closely related field or its equivalent; 1-3 years' experience in the field or in a related area; or a combination of education and experience
• Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the IT field is required.
• Knowledge of computer applications to include word processing, data bases and/or data entry, spreadsheets and Microsoft Outlook is required.
• Ability to attain gaming identification badge to work in and around Casino property and facilities.
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing is required.
• Ability to work independently and establish priorities is required.
• Attention to detail and accuracy is required.
• Ability to establish professional and harmonious working relationships on all projects and with all parties involved.
• Subject to drug and alcohol testing in accordance with the Fond du Lac Reservation's Personnel Policies.
• Subject to pre-employment and annual background checks.
• Travel is required to Fond Du Lac locations throughout the day.
• PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Normal Physical requirements. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally is required.
