This opportunity is for a Pharmacist specializing in hospital pharmacy, located in Citrus Heights, CA, with a 13-week travel assignment at a 25-bed critical access hospital in Clear Lake, CA. The assignment offers day shifts, structured as four 10-hour days per week, with schedule flexibility available upon request.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and patient safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, providing guidance and support
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to optimize pharmacotherapy
• Manage pharmacokinetics monitoring and related clinical interventions
• Utilize healthcare IT systems including EPIC and Omnicell for medication management and record-keeping

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid California pharmacist license is required
• Demonstrated experience working in hospital pharmacy settings
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams
• Full-time availability throughout the assignment duration
• Proficiency with EPIC and Omnicell systems preferred
