CABVI is seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant to be responsible for serving as the bridge between our Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales teams, and our IT organization by gathering requirements, designing processes, configuring the system, and driving user adoption from kickoff through go-live and beyond. Additionally, this position will work closely with developers, solution architects, and our external implementation partner to deliver a solution that's scalable, well documented, and genuinely useful to the people who rely on it every day.

KEY JOB ELEMENTS

• Serve as the functional lead and subject-matter expert for the Business Central implementation, guiding the organization from legacy systems through configuration, testing, go-live, and post-implementation stabilization

• Assist with deployment planning and cutover activities and provide ongoing functional support and continuous improvement recommendations after go-live.

• Lead requirement-gathering sessions, workshops, and interviews across departments with varying technical abilities, and explain complex ERP concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences alike.

• Meet with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Warehousing, Manufacturing/Repackaging, Customer Service, and Sales to gather, document, and analyze current-state processes, identify gaps and opportunities, and define future-state processes.

• Translate business requirements into clear, actionable functional design documents and specifications aligned with CABVI's best practices and objectives.

• Lead business process design by mapping processes to Business Central capabilities, recommending industry best practices, and helping standardize and streamline operations.

• Configure Business Central modules — General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, budgeting, financial reporting, inventory, procurement, warehousing, order management, and light manufacturing/repackaging — using out-of-the-box functionality wherever possible, recommending customization only when necessary.

• Evaluate, learn, and implement third-party add-ons that extend Business Central — including

• Warehouse Insight, Dynamic Ship, Banyan Technology, Martus, Yaveon, Solver, or comparable platforms — configuring, testing, and integrating them while maintaining accessibility standards for blind and visually impaired users.

• Build reports, dashboards, automated workflows, and low-code apps using Microsoft Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps to extend Business Central and support ERP-related decision-making.

• Design, build, deploy, and manage AI agents and copilots — using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Copilot in Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform, and other supported AI models such as Anthropic Claude and OpenAI — to automate tasks and surface information, while maintaining accessibility, security, and responsible-AI standards.

• Plan and lead conference room pilots (CRPs), walking business SMEs through configured end-to-end scenarios to validate the solution design, confirm process fit, surface gaps, and drive configuration refinements ahead of formal testing.

• Develop test scenarios and lead User Acceptance Testing, unit testing, and integration testing; work with end users to validate requirements and resolve issues before go-live.

• Support data migration, master data design, and validation — including decisions about which AR/AP, inventory, customer order, and purchase order data must convert.

• Plan and deliver end-user training, create training materials and standard operating procedures, and drive change management and system adoption.

• Ensure Business Central solutions are accessible to blind and visually impaired staff, supporting screen reader compatibility (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver) and WCAG 2.2 conformance across ERP and CRM workflows, in alignment with CABVI's mission.

• Collaborate with project managers, solution architects, Dynamics 365 developers, external implementation partners, and third-party vendors to clarify requirements, validate technical designs, and coordinate integrations and go-live activities.

• Maintain functional and technical documentation, process maps, and solution designs, and support audit, compliance, and internal controls related to ERP processes.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Information Technology or Computer Science.

• Minimum of five years proven experience as a Functional Consultant, Business Analyst, or Functional Analyst supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or a similar ERP platform, including full ERP lifecycle implementations and/or major upgrades.

• Certified as 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate (Exam MB-800), or willingness to obtain certification within the first year.

• Demonstrated understanding of ERP-integrated business processes and accessibility standards.

• Mastery of Microsoft Dynamics. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Demonstrated understanding of ERP-integrated business processes and accessibility standards.

• Regularly required to stand and walk.  Regularly required to sit for periods of time at computer terminal.
