Combined, our Lander and Riverton facilities offer a total of 133 beds, providing comprehensive medical services to the communities for a population of over 40,000 in Fremont County, Wyoming, including 24/7 Hospitalist and emergency care, surgery, women’s health, and advanced diagnostics, committed to quality, safety, and community wellness. About the position: 10 shifts/month (24-hour shifts) - 10 site/14 unrestricted call Procedures include: central lines, intubations, thoras, paras, arterial lines; possible chest tubes Shift requirement can be averaged over the entire year to allow for flexibility Opportunity to pick up extra shifts at the same shift rate Qualifications: BE/BC in Internal Medicine Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of WY and DEA with full prescriptive authority Must be willing and able to reside in the communities to allow for flexibility in scheduling Ability to manage chest tubes strongly preferred At least one year of experience highly desirable Our Notable Highlights: Community Trauma Hospital (Lander) with full OB and surgical services Mammography services have earned a three-year accreditation from the American College of Radiology (ACR) Advanced diagnostic imaging (CT, MRI, 3D mammography, ultrasound, etc.) Broad service lines including primary care, general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, women’s health Chest Pain Center accreditation for quality cardiac care Recognized with top safety and civic leadership grades by Leapfrog and Lown Institute Committed to community benefit—significant investments in technology and uncompensated care Recruitment package may include: Flat shift rate ($2200) Eligible for quality bonus $100shift (paid quarterly) $5K CME allowance Sign-on bonus Student loan repayment assistance $10K relocation allowance Medical Malpractice insurance and tail coverage Residency stipend Health benefits 401(k) retirement plan Marketing practice growth assistance About Lander/Riverton: Nestled between mountain ranges in Fremont County, Lander and Riverton, WY offer breathtaking views, a close-knit community, and no state income tax.
