Your next roleYou will bring exceptional technical leadership, support and mentoring to the wider team with a commitment to project delivery and commercial performance.Your key dutiesAs a key part of the team, your responsibilities will be varied but will broadly include:Set a strong example of client care and general consultancy and support the regional team to do the same.Represent Buro Happold at design team meetings, both internally and externally, providing project leadership and taking responsibility for sustained and productive client relationships across the region.Work will include conducting site observations, participating in site meetings and responding directly to contractor queries in the field.Lead the analysis and design of structural systems for a wide range of building types in accordance with applicable building codes.Manage and mentor engineering and drafting staff whilst overseeing the preparation of contract documents, including drawings and specifications.Participate in project technical/quality reviewsFurther the reputation of Buro Happold structural engineering as the best in class across a range of size and project types in region.Represent Buro Happold externally by engaging in local industry groups and events that align with the Boston Structures team’s goals.Your skills and experienceAs an established Structural Engineer, we expect that you will be able to demonstrate:10+ years of significant experience leading structural engineering projects or teams across a variety of sectorsExperience leading structural engineering projects during construction phase.Master’s Degree Licensed as PE and / or SEAbility to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders including senior management, clients, and company-wide staff Confident, proactive character, with a track record of taking the lead Proven track record of client relationship management and project deliveryStrong interest in work-winningCandidates are encouraged to apply even if they don’t meet all requirementsWhat we offerSalary range of $115,000 - $150,000.
