The Behavioral Health Technician cares for individuals with psychiatric conditions as well as a variety of substance use disorders, following the instructions of physicians, nurses or other health practitioners. The Behavioral Health Technician monitors patients' safety, physical and emotional well-being and report directly to medical staff.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Associate's degree in behavioral studies or related field, or equivalent experience preferred (or per facility requirements)
• Minimum of one (1) year relevant experience preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
