What You'll Do

• Provide perioperative care in the OR, including surgeries, C-sections, PACU, and Endoscopy procedures
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and high-quality care
• Assist with room turnover, instrument handling, and sterile procedures
• Respond to on-call needs within 30 minutes of notification, including weekends and weekdays
• Support emergency team efforts if required during unpredictable events
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards

What You Need

• Valid RN license in Louisiana or state of residence
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Minimum 1 year of recent OR experience, including surgical and PACU care
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Ability to arrive quickly when on-call

• Experience working in rural hospital environments
• Flexibility to be assigned to an emergency team if necessary
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

About the Assignment This position is with a leading facility in Jennings, Louisiana, a close-knit rural hospital where the OR team handles a variety of surgical cases, including surgeries, C-sections, PACU, and Endoscopy. The role requires adaptability to support patient care across multiple disciplines, including emergent situations. The facility is not trauma-designated, but unpredictable ER cases may arrive. Shifts are scheduled day shifts, with on-call responsibilities one day per week and every 5th weekend, requiring swift response times. You will receive support from a dedicated team committed to your success throughout this assignment.
