COOK Colonial Poplin Nursing & Rehabilitation Center Sign on Bonus - $1,500 Colonial Poplin Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dependable and passionate Cook to join our Dietary Services team. This position is responsible for preparing nutritious, high-quality meals while ensuring compliance with sanitation, safety, and dietary guidelines. Responsibilities Include: Preparing and serving meals in accordance with physician orders, therapeutic diets, and standardized recipes Ensuring food is prepared safely and served at proper temperatures Following all sanitation, food safety, and infection control procedures Assisting with meal preparation, portioning, and food presentation Maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen, equipment, and work areas Monitoring food inventory and assisting with proper storage and rotation of supplies Working collaboratively with the Dietary Manager and dietary team to provide excellent service to residents Qualifications: Previous cooking experience required; healthcare or long-term care experience preferred Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards Ability to prepare meals in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and communication skills Reliable, dependable, and team-oriented Benefits We are proud to offer full- and part-time employee's benefits options, including: Healthcare benefits (full-time only) Dental (full-time only) Vision (full-time only)
