About the Position

Job Title: Nurse Manager Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: Temp-to-perm Shift: Weekdays Hours per Shift: 10 (06:30 AM - 04:30 PM) or 08:30 AM - 04:30 PM Experience: - Minimum of 6-8 years of nursing experience - Minimum of 5 years of operating room experience - Minimum of 3 years of neurosurgery experience - Minimum of 2-5 years of solid and consistent leadership/management experience License: - Current RN license Certifications: - CNOR preferred Must-Have: - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required Description: The Nurse Manager manages and has 24/7 responsibility for the nursing practice, patient care delivery, and regulatory compliance of a patient care unit. They assist nursing leadership in setting strategic direction for key programs in alignment with the organization’s mission and values. The Nurse Manager maintains a professional environment that supports the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. They manage and lead team members, operations, and patient care activities during assigned shifts. The Nurse Manager serves as a role model for standards of professional practice, including clinical, educational, and leadership components. In addition, the role involves working on recruitment, retention, and team building initiatives. Other related duties may be required as necessary.
