Advanced Practice Clinician

Job Duties:

• Practice of medicine within the scope of license, training, credentialing and in accordance with the current standards of care and quality criteria adopted by PrimeCare.
• See patients in PrimeCare clinics during office hours. This is a full-spectrum family medicine practice that serves all ages and conditions.
• Participates in and provides after-hours call coverage as assigned.
• Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.
• Order, perform and interpret tests and analyze records, reports, and examination information to diagnose patients' condition.
• Complete charting on an electronic health record (Athena) and required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Participate in health center and provider meetings.

Education/Licensure/Certifications:

• Graduate of accredited educational program with a master's degree in nursing or doctorate degree in nursing or physician assistant degree.
• Board certification in specialty must be kept current.
• Unrestricted license to practice as an APRN or PA within the State of Illinois, Illinois Controlled Substance license, and federal DEA license.
• Current provider-level CPR.

Salary

All wages are based on relevant years of experience and time since completing an Advanced Practice Clinician program. The minimum rate is the wage that a new Advanced Practice Clinician will earn. If interested in part-time employment, the salary range will be adjusted accordingly.
