Overview The Johnson City, TN office of Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC has an immediate opening for a Paralegal with at least 2-4 years of general litigation and transactional experience. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and/or a paralegal certificate from an ABA‑approved paralegal program Strong organizational skills in the management of paper and electronic files Ability to manage work for multiple attorneys and cases with discerning attention to detail Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Excel, Word, and state and federal e‑filing programs Must provide minimum authorization to work in the United States Responsibilities Litigation: fact finding and investigations, drafting, editing, and cite‑checking pleadings, preparing and responding to discovery, preparing and attending depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials, and assisting in all facets of post‑trial work Transactional: preparing and filing corporate formation documents, supporting an aviation transaction practice, organizing and filing documents with various federal and state agencies (including FAA), preparing transaction checklists, preparing and filing UCC documents, and preparing detailed closing binders for all transactions #J-18808-Ljbffr
