Tax ManagerLocation: Roseville, CASalary: $140,000 - $180,000Position OverviewWe are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Tax Manager to oversee our tax compliance and planning initiatives. The Tax Manager will play a critical role in managing and optimizing the company's tax strategy, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations, and providing insightful analysis to support decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns.Develop and implement effective tax strategies that align with the company's business objectives.Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and reviews.Identify tax planning opportunities and risks to minimize tax liabilities.Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organization.Provide training and guidance to junior staff on tax-related matters.Prepare and review tax provisions and ensure compliance with financial reporting standards.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification is required.Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management or related field.Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.Experience with tax compliance software and accounting systems.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication skills and ability to present complex information clearly
