Registered Nurse - Rehabilitation

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized inpatient rehabilitation nursing care to patients requiring assistance with mobility and daily activities. Deliver compassionate, efficient support in a fast-paced hospital environment to promote optimal recovery outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans tailored to rehabilitation needs.
• Administer medications and treatments with strict adherence to hospital protocols.
• Document patient progress accurately using EMR systems such as EPIC and UDS.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
• Operate rehabilitation equipment including Sara Stedy, Hoyer lift, and Carendo Shower Chair safely.
• Monitor patient mobility and assist with lifting, repositioning, and mobilization activities.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with at least 2 years of inpatient hospital experience.
• Demonstrate experience in inpatient rehab or related settings preferred.
• Be CPR/BLS certified.
• Possess strong teamwork, communication, and clinical assessment skills.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EPIC, UDS) is required.
• Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) and weekends as needed.
