Required Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent anesthesiology experience at tertiary care centers
• Board certification in Anesthesiology or eligibility with fellowship training
• Valid CA state medical license and DEA registration
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR system
• Recent experience working solo in high acuity (ASA 3+) cases
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
• Ability to cover both inpatient and outpatient procedures in a flexible, floating schedule
• Strong regional anesthesia skills preferred, but not mandatory
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Regional anesthesia experience
• Interest or experience working with CRNAs
• Experience in high acuity settings and complex cases
• Prior work at tertiary or academic medical centers

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Fellowship-trained anesthesiologist with recent inpatient/outpatient practice
• Proven ability to work independently and adapt to floating between facilities
• At least 2+ years of recent practice in a similar high-volume, high-acuity setting

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to be floated between sister sites including Bay Front, Mt. Zion, Mission Bay, Ortho Institute, Parnassus, and Burlingame
• Must pass credentialing within 60-90 days
• References: Please provide two professional references who can speak to your clinical expertise and reliability
• Ability to work at least 2 weeks per month, predominantly full-time
• Compensation: $450/hr, all-inclusive, with shift differential for holidays
• Work Schedule: Day shifts, 5x10-hour days (07:00 - 17:00), no fixed shifts, with holiday premium pay
