In this position, you will be involved in diagnosing diseases through laboratory tests, overseeing laboratory operations, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient care. Your expertise will directly contribute to the quality of services we provide, helping to enhance the lives of patients across the region.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic testing and analyze laboratory results
• Interpret test results and communicate findings to healthcare teams
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices
• Collaborate with medical staff to provide comprehensive patient care
• Oversee laboratory operations and quality assurance processes
• Participate in case discussions and contribute to clinical decision-making
• Stay current with advancements in pathology and laboratory medicine
• Provide training and guidance to laboratory personnel as needed

Requirements

• MD or DO degree with a specialization in Pathology
• Associate-level experience in a clinical or laboratory setting
• Strong understanding of laboratory processes and diagnostic testing
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality patient care
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Current medical license to practice in Florida

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p

No call shifts

Daily Volume: 30-35 cases

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
