Customer Service RepresentativeDielectric Sciences is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Chelmsford, MA. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, organized professional who enjoys working with customers and collaborating with internal teams to ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.The Customer Service Representative will serve as an important point of contact for customers, providing responsive and professional support throughout the order process. The position works closely with Sales, Production, Engineering, Shipping and Accounting to communicate customer requirements and help resolve issues efficiently.Key Responsibilities:Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email in a timely and professional mannerEnter, process, and monitor customer orders from receipt through shipmentProvide customers with order status, pricing, lead-time, and shipping informationCoordinate with internal departments to ensure customer requirements and delivery commitments are metAddress order changes, discrepancies, and customer concerns and communicate appropriate solutionsMaintain accurate customer, order, and shipping information in company systemsAssist with quotations, order documentation, and other administrative customer-service activitiesDevelop and maintain positive, professional relationships with customersIdentify potential issues and communicate them proactively to customers and internal teamsManage the export control process to ensure trade compliance with international customersQualifications:Previous customer service, order entry, sales support, or administrative experience preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlinesComfortable working independently while also collaborating with a teamProficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and ExcelExperience with an ERP or order-management system is a plusManufacturing or technical industry experience is helpful but not requiredWhat We're Looking For:The successful candidate will be dependable, professional, and customer-focused, with a willingness to learn and a strong commitment to accuracy.
