Location: Jacksonville, FL
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Pay: $26.00–$28.00 per hour (DOE)
Reports To: Production Supervisor / Manufacturing Manager

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Team Lead to oversee daily production operations on 2nd shift . This hands-on leadership role is responsible for ensuring production goals are met while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. The ideal candidate has strong manufacturing and machining experience and is committed to leading by example.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of manufacturing employees to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Assign work, monitor workflow, and address production issues as they arise.
• Train and coach team members on safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
• Troubleshoot machines and production challenges minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance to improve processes and productivity.
• Maintain accurate production records and communicate shift performance to management.
• Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience , including 2 years in a lead or supervisory role .
• Strong machining experience, including CNC machining, machine setup, tooling, blueprint reading, and the use of precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and maintain tight tolerances.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement practices is preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment around machinery and equipment.
