Overview
Occupational Therapist, Acute Care specialty, travel assignment in Tacoma, Washington. Start date 12/01/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,268–$2,286 per week with 35 guaranteed hours per week. Shift is 5x8 days with actual hours from 08:00 to 16:30. Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility. This is a travel - temporary assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations for residents to determine functional status and goals
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized OT treatment plans focused on activities of daily living, mobility, cognition, and safety
- Deliver direct therapy sessions and monitor progress, documenting outcomes in the medical record
- Recommend environmental modifications, adaptive equipment, and assistive devices to enhance independence and reduce fall risk
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (nursing, therapy, social work) to coordinate care and support discharge planning
- Ensure adherence to safety, documentation, and regulatory requirements; participate in quality improvement and infection control practices

Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of Washington
- Relevant experience in acute care or skilled nursing facility settings
- Ability to fulfill a 13-week travel assignment in the assigned location
- Strong documentation skills and effective communication with patients, families, and the care team
- Commitment to patient safety, ethical practice, and high-quality care
