Security Officer I

Security Officer IResponsible for ensuring the safety and security of an organization's premises, employees, and visitors. This role involves monitoring security systems, conducting regular patrols, responding to incidents, and enforcing security policies and procedures. Will be the first line of defense against unauthorized access, theft, and other security threats, maintaining a visible presence to deter potential risks. This position requires strong observational skills, quick decision-making abilities, and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies and security breaches. Schedule: 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. with rotating days offJob ResponsibilitiesAssist in responding to inquiries and resolving issues or complaints (e.g., issuance of personnel badges and hangtags).Support the team in providing excellent customer service; May provide patrol duties, as needed.Assist in maintaining daily reports with relevant information (e.g., observations, surveillance, signatures).Issue all personnel badges and parking hangtags for all hospital employees and guests using the security Access Control System.
