Diagnostic and patient monitoring (detecting and recognizing acute changes and escalating concerns or critical results). Administration and monitoring therapeutic interventions and regimens (starting/maintaining intravenous therapies, administering medication per patients’ rights, preventing falls and skin breakdown, and following safety policies). Effective management of rapidly changing situations (identifying, assessing and anticipating needs). Organization and work‑rule competencies (prioritizing, coordinating and meeting multiple patient needs in a timely manner). Helping role (consistently contribute to a healing environment, providing patient comfort and support for human dignity, serving as a patient advocate and building a therapeutic environment). Teaching‑coaching function (assessing and evaluating the patient’s readiness and ability to learn, effectively explaining a patient’s condition and interpretation of his or her illness). Job Requirements Required Associate of Nursing, Associate’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent, and upon hire. Completion of an accredited Nursing Program, and upon hire. Registered Nurse: GA, upon hire. AHA Basic Life Support (CPR), upon hire. Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 120 days. Pediatric Advanced Life Support, within 120 days.
