Senior Tax Accountant

Top regional firm where the average tenure is around 10 years, because people stay.
\n \nWho we are
\nA 55-hour cap in busy season. Half-day Fridays through the summer. 40-hour weeks the rest of the year. And the work itself: high net worth & ultra high net worth individuals and closely held businesses.
\n \nResponsibilities
\n- \n
- Prepare and review complex individual, corporate, and partnership returns \n
- Own client relationships, communicating directly with business owners and families \n
- Research tax issues and develop practical planning strategies \n
- Respond to federal and state notices \n
- Guide junior staff and review their work as you grow toward manager \n
What you need
\n- \n
- 2 to 5+ years of tax experience in public accounting \n
- Bachelor's degree in accounting (master's in tax a plus) \n
- CPA or actively pursuing certification \n
- Strong experience with individual taxation, ideally high net worth \n
- The communication skills to explain complex tax issues in plain language \n
