Millat Industries, a family-owned manufacturing company celebrating over 60 years of success, is seeking an HR Specialist to join our Corporate Services team.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and enjoys balancing administrative responsibilities with associate-facing activities. This position plays a key role in supporting approximately 165 associates across four manufacturing divisions by administering payroll, providing associate support, driving engagement initiatives, and managing internal communications.

Your Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll and maintain accurate time and attendance records in ADP
• Administer PTO, payroll adjustments, deductions, garnishments, reimbursements, and related payroll activities
• Respond to associate payroll, timekeeping, benefits, and HR-related questions
• Support onboarding, associate records, reporting, audits, and HR administrative processes
• Coordinate associate engagement, recognition, wellness, and communication initiatives, including events, service awards, associate appreciation activities, and company announcements

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Human Resources, Payroll, Administrative, Benefits, or related experience
• Experience with payroll, timekeeping, and HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now preferred)
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
• Reliable with excellent attention to detail and follow-through
