Slim Chickens is a leading fast-casual restaurant known for our delicious chicken dishes, friendly service, and welcoming atmosphere. We pride ourselves on delivering a high-quality dining experience for every guest. We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Shift Manager to join our team and help us maintain our reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of employees, ensuring efficient and effective shift operations.
- Train, coach, and develop team members to meet performance standards and company policies.
- Manage customer service interactions, addressing and resolving any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and safety standards to ensure compliance with company and health regulations.
- Oversee cash handling procedures, including opening and closing registers, making deposits, and managing till discrepancies.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both employees and customers.
- Conduct regular shift meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and any operational updates.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to achieve sales targets, manage labor costs, and control expenses.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support the restaurant's overall success.
Qualifications:
- At least one year of experience in a management role within the restaurant industry. (QSR Preferred)
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate your team.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive guest experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic math and cash handling skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
