Administrative Assistant - Full TimeJoin a supportive team who values compassion, excellence, collaboration, inclusion, hope, and authenticity!In collaboration with SouthLight's Opioid Treatment Program, the Administrative Assistant serves as a first point of contact and information source for new and existing participants at SouthLight's Garner Road Outpatient Treatment Center.This position is responsible for a variety of day-to-day operations including, but not limited to: greeting clients and visitors, answering and routing calls, providing check in/check out services to participants, collecting copays and service fees, and keeping paperwork organized.Schedule: FT, Mon - Fri 12:30pm - 8:30pm.Pay: Starting at $18.00 per hour.Benefits: Being a part of a non-profit behavioral health organization has some unique benefits, along with our incredible health insurance options. Options for a standard plan and an HSA plan with a $100 initial contribution and up to a $25 per paycheck match. 10 paid holidays and PTO hours which accrue at a rate of 10 hours per month. After 6 months employees are eligible to enroll in our 401(k) plan which has a 4% match. Company paid life insurance, short and long term disability, in house and paid training opportunities, and additional pay for working holidays.Job Responsibilities of an Administrative Assistant:Provide superior customer service to all participants, staff, and visitors in a courteous, welcoming, and professional mannerManage participant flow by providing timely check-in procedures upon arrivalAnswer incoming calls, providing information regarding treatment services, screening prospective patients, and general inquiries; transferring calls to the appropriate source as neededUtilize electronic medical record and advanced clinic automation methadone software to ensure information received is accurate, timely, and moved through the approval process efficientlyCollect outstanding balances, coinsurances, deductibles, copays, and self-pay balances and accurately post paymentsReconcile daily receipts and money collected with end of day reports to confirm money balances and prepare individual depositLeverage Eleos AI, an innovative clinical documentation tool that reduces note-writing time so you can spend more time focusing on participant care.Qualifications of an Administrative Assistant:Education and Experience:Minimum of HS diploma or GEDMinimum one year of experience in front office, customer service, or related field. Behavioral health experience a plusKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Professional interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse communityHighly organized and detail-orientedDemonstrated ability and willingness to learn, strong attention to detail, positive attitude, and ability to be flexible and embrace change in a fast-paced environmentCommitment to strong customer service focus rooted in empathyExcellent time management and prioritization skills to handle and manage a high volume of callsOrganizational skills to prioritize workload and meet deadlines, develop and carry-out project assignments in an efficient and timely manner, and to provide accurate and succinct documentation of activitiesAbility to use an electronic medical record systemComfortable with MS Office Suite and windows-based applicationsAbout Us:Tap into your passion at SouthLight.
