Unit Highlights This position offers the unique opportunity to work across various departments, gain diverse clinical experiences, and make a significant impact on patient outcomes. As a Float Pool Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care across multiple patient care units, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety. You will work as a versatile member of our nursing team who adapts to different clinical settings, including but not limited to medical-surgical, telemetry, intermediate care, and boarding patients in our emergency department. This position requires flexibility, critical thinking, and the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team. BSN preferred. At least two full years of recent acute care, hospital-based clinical nursing (RN) experience required. At least two full years of recent Intermediate Care/Stepdown ICU or Critical Care/ICU experience required. ICU experience preferred. Academic Medical Center experience preferred.
