Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy position in Beckley, WV, requiring at least one year of endoscopy experience and proficiency with EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, bronchoscopy, and feeding tube placements.

Details

• GI/Endoscopy unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• 4-bed unit focused on endoscopic procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, bronchoscopy, and feeding tube placements
• Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required, with additional weekend hours as needed
• On-call responsibilities required as needed
• Floating required as needed
• EMR: Meditech
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license in WV or a compact state license
• Current AHA certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum of 1 year of endoscopy experience required
• Hands-on experience with EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, bronchoscopy, and feeding tube placements required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Hospital is a Level 3 Trauma Center accredited by The Joint Commission
• Orientation is held biweekly on Wednesdays
• Navy blue scrubs required; hospital OR scrubs are also acceptable — casual wear is not permitted
• Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
