What You'll Own As Used Vehicle Director, you will have full responsibility for the performance and profitability of the pre-owned vehicle operation, including: Inventory acquisition and sourcing strategy Appraisal processes and trade management Used vehicle sales volume and profitability Inventory aging, turn, and stocking levels Market-based pricing strategy Vehicle merchandising and digital presentation Wholesale strategy and loss mitigation Reconditioning speed, quality, and expense control Digital retailing and online merchandising Used vehicle sales process execution and accountability Team recruitment, coaching, and performance management Collaboration with New Vehicle, Service, F&I, and BDC leadership This role requires a leader who understands the complete inventory life cycle and can successfully balance acquisition, volume, gross profit, inventory turn, and customer satisfaction.
