Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:
The Cath Lab RN is responsible for delivering specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures. This role involves close coordination with medical teams to ensure safe, effective, and efficient patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer nursing care before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any changes in condition.
• Assist physicians with invasive procedures and ensure the sterile field is maintained.
• Educate patients on procedural processes and post-procedure care.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient assessments and interventions.
• Respond to emergency situations promptly and effectively, providing critical support.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with relevant state licensure.
• Proven experience in cardiac cath labs or electrophysiology.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac procedures, patient monitoring, and emergency response protocols.
• Exceptional communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including holidays and on-call duties.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
