Physical Therapist Employment Type: Full Time, Mid-Level Department: Healthcare CGS is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team supporting the healthcare mission of a large federal agency. Job Description: You will help maximize the physical readiness and long‑term health of fighter aircrew by addressing musculoskeletal injuries, particularly related to neck and back pain caused by flight demands. As a multidisciplinary team member, you will be an important part of the injury prevention, performance enhancement, and rehabilitation aspects of fighter aircrew. Duties and Responsibilities: Conduct MSK evaluations and interventions. Design, implement, and monitor individualized injury prevention and rehabilitation programs. Order imaging, labs, and specialist consultations as needed. Document work performed in approved electronic record systems. Educate aircrew and leadership on injury prevention, ergonomics, and recovery strategies. Comply with all DHA, DoD, and MTF protocols. Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Doctor of Physical Therapy from a CAPTE‑accredited program. Three or more years’ experience as a PT in a collegiate, professional, Olympic, tactical (military), aerospace, or similar high‑performance environment, with recency within the last two years. A current (or able to obtain prior to start date) CPR certification, including AED certification, from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. A current (or able to obtain and maintain) Secret security clearance (T3 background investigation). U.S. citizenship. Preferred Qualifications: Five or more years’ experience as a PT in a similar high‑performance environment, with recency within the last two years. At least one of the following: ABPTS OCS or SCS certification. Orthopedic or sports residency/fellowship training. Advanced Dry Needling Certification (Level 2) and Orthopedic Manual Therapy (OMT) Certification.
