Internal Medicine Physician

Physician HRT, GLP-1 & Wellness Medicine Part-Time Location: Chicago, Illinois / North Shore Schedule: Hours per Week An established and growing aesthetic and wellness practice in the Chicago area is seeking an experienced Physician Wellness Provider to lead and deliver its expanding wellness program. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician with established experience in HRT/hormone optimization, GLP-1 medical weight management, peptide therapy, and wellness/longevity medicine who is seeking a flexible, part-time clinical position. The incoming physician will have the opportunity to provide direct patient care while helping shape and grow a developing wellness service line within an established, high-touch practice. The Opportunity The physician will: Evaluate and manage patients for HRT and hormone optimization Prescribe and manage GLP-1 therapies and medical weight management Provide peptide therapy and other appropriate wellness treatments Develop individualized wellness and longevity treatment plans Review labs and monitor patient outcomes Help establish and refine clinical protocols Train and mentor Advanced Practice Providers Provide clinical leadership for the wellness program Collaborate with practice leadership on continued service-line growth Candidate Qualifications Prior clinical experience in HRT/hormone optimization and wellness medicine is required. The practice is seeking a physician who is already well versed in this field and can begin treating patients with minimal ramp-up. Candidates should have: MD or DO degree Active Illinois medical license or ability to obtain one Established experience with HRT/hormone optimization Experience prescribing and managing GLP-1 therapies Experience with peptide and longevity medicine strongly preferred Ability to independently evaluate and manage wellness patients Strong communication and patient relationship skills Interest in training and mentoring APPs Specialty Background Preferred physician backgrounds include: Emergency Medicine Anesthesiology Plastic Surgery However, physicians from all specialty backgrounds will be considered if they have significant hands-on experience in HRT and wellness medicine. Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, OB/GYN, Integrative Medicine, and other specialties are encouraged to apply. Schedule & Practice This is a part-time W-2 position averaging hours per week , with time divided between two Chicago-area locations. Compensation Competitive W-2 compensation based on experience, qualifications, and schedule.
