Kellwell Food Management, a Correctional Food Service Provider is now hiring a Food Service Manager at the Aiken County Jail located in Aiken, SC . This is a Full-Time position with benefits. We have weekly pay and the starting rate for this position is $45,000 a year.

 

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Assistant Correctional Food Service Manager. The role involves overseeing meal preparation, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, managing food inventory, and supervising kitchen staff within a correctional facility environment. The Assistant Correctional Food Service Manager will also help with handling scheduling, ensure cost-effective operations, and maintain adherence to nutritional guidelines. Additionally, the role includes ensuring facility requirements are met, managing staff training, and addressing any operational concerns promptly and effectively.

 

Qualifications

• Experience in Food Preparation, Culinary Arts, and Food Sanitization
• Skills in Team Leadership, Staff Supervision, and Training Management
• Proficiency in Inventory Management and Budget Planning
• Familiarity with Food Safety Protocols, Nutrition Standards, and Compliance Regulations
• Ability to work in a structured environment and adapt to a correctional facility setting
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Previous experience in correctional food service management is a plus
• ServSafe Certification or equivalent is preferred
