  • 7 on - 7 off
  • 7a-7p
• Shifts:
  • 8a-8p OR 8p-8a
• Setting:
  • Inpatient acute-care hospital
  • 442-bed regional referral center
  • Level II trauma center
• Census:
  • Approximately 300 total inpatients daily hospital-wide
• Procedures:
  • Moderate SedationLumbar Puncture
  • Lumbar Puncture
  • Endotracheal Intubation and Extubation
  • Paracentesis/Thoracentesis
  • Ventilator Management including Assessing Readiness for and Administering Respiratory Weaning/Oxygen Therapy and Extubation. Assessing need for Intubation
  • Chest Tube Insertion
  • Insertion of PICC Lines, Arterial Lines, Central Venous Lines either percutaneously or by cut down
  • Arterial Line Insertion and Removal (radial and femoral) these two privileges may be the same
  • Tracheostomy Care including Tube Change
  • Management of Tension pneumothorax in Emergent Situation
  • External pacing including adjusting temporary epicardial, transvenous, or transcutaneous pacemaker as necessary

• Board Certification:
  • BC/BERequired
• Travel:
  • Hospital will cover
• Credentialing timeline:
  • Can fast track for ASAPstart
• Requirements:
  • Active MIstate license or IMLC
  • Active DEA in MIor willing to transfer
  • ACLS
