Project Manager/SW Delivery/Insurance

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead complex enterprise technology initiatives with a strong focus on Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) execution, delivery governance, and cross-functional coordination. This individual will manage technical projects from inception through implementation, partnering closely with internal technology teams, business stakeholders, and external implementation partners to ensure successful delivery. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical delivery background, excellent organizational leadership, and experience managing enterprise application initiatives in structured environments. Experience supporting Finance and Accounting applications is preferred but not a must.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of technical projects across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including planning, requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-launch support
• Build, manage, and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, dependencies, risk logs, and executive status reporting
• Serve as the primary project lead coordinating across internal stakeholders, technical teams, business partners, and third-party implementation vendors
• Drive accountability with external implementation partners to ensure deliverables, timelines, issue resolution, and overall project execution remain on track
• Manage vendor relationships, implementation activities, project governance, and escalation management throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Partner with engineering, architecture, QA, infrastructure, business analysts, and business teams to align project objectives and execution plans
• Facilitate Agile and project governance ceremonies including status meetings, planning sessions, steering committee updates, and stakeholder communications
• Utilize Jira for sprint planning, backlog tracking, issue management, dependency monitoring, and delivery transparency
• Manage scope changes, competing priorities, and cross-team dependencies in fast-paced enterprise environments
• Support initiatives involving finance, accounting, ERP, or business-critical enterprise applications

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Technical Project Management, Technology Delivery, or Program Management
• Strong experience leading projects across structured SDLC environments
• Proven experience managing complex cross-functional technical initiatives involving internal teams and external vendors
• Hands-on experience using Jira for project tracking, delivery coordination, and issue management
• Experience managing third-party implementation vendors and holding partners accountable to delivery commitments
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, leadership, and vendor partners
• Strong risk management, dependency management, issue resolution, and executive communication skills
• Experience coordinating testing cycles, release planning, and production deployments

Nice to Haves

• Experience supporting Finance and Accounting applications, ERP platforms, or enterprise business systems
• Background in regulated or compliance-driven environments
• Exposure to Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) frameworks
• Nice to have familiarity with RSA Archer / Archer GRC
• PMP, Scrum Master, or related certifications preferred
