OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Richmond, VA by HMD Trucking

Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

- Empty Miles: Paid at the same CPM as loaded miles
- Detention Pay: $25 per hour after the first 2 hours
- Layover Pay: $175 for every 24 hours
- Orientation Pay: $150
Operate nationwide dry‑van OTR runs for HMD Trucking based near Richmond, handling long‑haul freight with steady freight availability and supportive dispatch.
What you'll do:
- Safely operate company dry vans, perform detailed pre/post‑trip inspections, and maintain required trip documentation.
- Coordinate with dispatch to meet pickup and delivery schedules across national lanes.
Perks & expectations:
- Pay starts at 65¢/mile with typical weekly averages near 2,500 miles and safety, inspection, and referral bonuses. Equipment is modern (under three years) with APUs, inverters, sleepers, and reliable in‑house maintenance.
Qualifications: valid CDL‑A and minimum 12 months verifiable driving experience. Home every two weeks and full benefits provided.
