This position follows a hybrid work schedule, with Tuesday through Thursday in office and Monday and Friday remote. Responsibilities Collaborate with the Specialist, HR Certification Content to identify item development needs and coordinate the secure transfer of items that have successfully completed review. Lead the SHRM CP® item development and publishing lifecycle to ensure consistency, quality, and timely workflow progression in collaboration with relevant teams. Train SMEs to validly align content to the SHRM Body of Applied Skills and Knowledge (BASK) and review exam content through SHRM’s bias and cultural sensitivity guidelines. Develop high-quality SHRM CP® and SHRM SCP® exam items and/or other SHRM assessment content using tools including Generative AI to enhance content accuracy aligned to SHRM standards. Gather data and critical incidents with SMEs, convert incidents to scenarios, and author situational content using available tools including Generative AI. Coordinate the assessment intake and upload process by collecting, verifying, and preparing assessment content; maintain SHRM assessment platform. Contribute test-development and HR content expertise on various item review projects to improve exam item content. Conduct quality assurance and other control measures of newly developed exam items using available tools including Finetune Generative AI (GAI). Write, co-write, or edit publications related to SHRM Body of Applied Skills and Knowledge or SHRM certification, including test previews and study guides. Support SHRM website updates to certification webpages to improve user experience and ensure timely certification-related updates. Qualifications Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience, including exposure to HR generalist responsibilities. Experience working with or supporting large-scale initiatives. Skills: Excellent organizational skills, multitasking ability, attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines. Comfortable navigating ambiguity. Communication: Strong written and oral communication skills with clear tone and audience awareness. Knowledge: Working knowledge of testing, item development, and/or basic psychometric principles is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.). Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, or a relevant field required. Master’s degree preferred.
