SAP has established strategic partnerships with the major public cloud providers, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), to offer customers choices for their SAP private cloud deployment.As part of SAP’s Customer Success organization, we are looking for highly motivated and customer-focused team members to strengthen the Cloud Architecture & Advisory team (CAA). The Cloud Architect Expert acts as a primary point of contact for all technical topics from a customer perspective and works closely with all the other internal teams.What You’ll DoThis is a customer-facing role focused on Strategic Customers where you will support broader virtual account teams during the entire sales cycle of a Cloud deal. The following are the key tasks that this role will perform:Present RISE Private Cloud offering, technical details, and engagement model to internal and external stakeholders.Build customer-specific cloud roadmaps to support cloud adoption and Business TransformationsGather as-is technical requirements and map them to to-be Enterprise cloud architectureAssess customer security and network requirements to make sure the SAP security architecture framework can meet customer requirementsWork with SAP delivery and engineering teams to address customer-specific requirementsPresent the value proposition for SAP private cloud on Hyperscale clouds like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Conduct Technical Assessment workshops with customers to define the future Cloud architecture and support the migration roadmap together with partners, System Integrators, and or SAP Professional ServicesGuide customers on all technical aspects like Business Continuity, Security & Compliance, Networks, etcOwn the technical discussions with the customer and act as the orchestrator of experts to obtain expertise from the SAP delivery organization as requiredAct as Trusted Advisor to VAT and assigned customers on all technical aspects of SAP RISEWhat You BringHigh proficiency in customer communications and presentations is requiredHigh proficiency in the SAP product portfolio, offerings, and industry solutionsGood understanding of SAP solutions (releases, platform interdependencies, etc.)Good understanding of operational aspects (Application or Technical) of SAP solutions in a cloud environment.Good understanding of capabilities of at least one Hyperscale Clouds (AWS; MS Azure or GCP)Ability and willingness to be part of a global team of Cloud ArchitectsWillingness to undertake customer-related travel on short noticeFluency in English is a MUST, any other language is an asset2+ years of customer-facing pre-sales and cloud architecture role is an advantage8+ years of customer-facing SAP Technical Consulting experience8+ years experience with customer facing SAP Technology Consulting (e.g. Basis Admin, DB Admin, Migrations, Upgrades, Business Continuity, Operations etc.) in large-scale customer environments.SAP NetWeaver, OS/DB migration, SAP HANA, TOGAF certifications are a plusExperience and certifications with IaaS Providers (AWS, MS Azure, or GCP) are a big advantageSAP HANA and S/4 HANA skills would be very helpful but not mandatoryCloud security including Cyber Security, Encryption, and key management knowledge is preferred#SAPECSCAA_careers#LI-MM10 Bring out your best SAP innovations help more than four hundred thousand customers worldwide work together more efficiently and use business insight more effectively. Compensation Range Transparency : SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 137,300 - 294000 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
