Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med Surg Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: RN License Certifications: ACLS Must-Have: - Telemetry experience - Recent acute care experience - Ability to manage a 6:1 patient ratio - Experience in travel nursing Description: Join a community hospital and regional referral center. This facility is a Certified Chest Pain Center and a Level 3 Trauma facility. The hospital has 171 beds and offers a supportive work environment. Enjoy beautiful mountain ranges paired with serene lake scenery. The area provides ample outdoor recreation opportunities. There are no block schedule requests; 48-hour shifts can be considered but are not guaranteed. General floating to other units such as Intermediate Care and Emergency Department is expected. The unit has a patient ratio of 1:6, with a diverse patient population including adult and geriatric patients. Typical patients include those recovering from total joint surgeries, surgical patients, and patients with acute medical conditions. The role requires a compassionate and positive attitude, able to adapt in a fast-paced environment. Scrub color is black for both tops and bottoms. Open shoes are not acceptable attire.
