Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 10/04/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 40 hours per week\n Shift: 8 hours, days\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Days, 5x8hrs\n Hours: 40 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Oct 4, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring an experienced PACU RN for a 13-week day shift assignment requiring pre/post-op OR, GI, IR, and PACU experience along with Epic proficiency.Details\n \n Surgery Recovery Room unit within a hospital setting\n Day shift, 8-hour shifts with scheduled start times between 0600 and 0800 depending on department need\n Call requirements of 1-2 shifts per weekday and every third weekend (Friday end of shift through 0630 Monday)\n Rotating holiday coverage with staff\n May require floating onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles as needed\n Uses Epic EMR\n Requirements\n \n Active WI or compact RN license required\n BLS and ACLS certification required (must be AHA)\n Minimum 2 years of experience required\n Experience in pre/post-op care for OR, GI, IR, and PACU required\n Prior travel nursing experience required\n Epic EMR experience required\n Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start\n US Social Security Number and US home address required for consideration\n Additional Information\n \n Provide recovery room nursing care for surgical patients across pre- and post-operative phases\n Radius rule applies which may reduce pay rate for local candidates within the designated distance\n First-time travelers are welcome to apply\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-743725.
