• You thrive on turning prints into precise, code-compliant weldments.
• You’re fluent in MIG, can jump into TIG when needed, and aren’t afraid of stick.
• You notice undercut from across the bay and know exactly how to fix it.

• Build structural steel assemblies for geotechnical drilling equipment using MIG, TIG, and stick processes.
• Follow weld procedure specifications (WPS) and blueprints to produce consistent, high-quality results.
• Set up machines, choose the proper filler materials, and verify parameters before striking an arc.
• Inspect, repair, and rework welds as needed to meet dimensional and visual standards.
• Grind and finish welds to the required contour and appearance.
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings and weld symbols accurately.
• Maintain torches, power sources, and related tooling to keep uptime high.
• Work safely—observe hot work controls and wear required PPE at all times.

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of manufacturing welding experience.
• Proficiency with MIG; TIG capabilities preferred.
• Ability to read weld drawings and symbols.

• AWS D1.1 certification.
• Experience welding chrome-moly or other high-strength alloys.
• TIG certification.

• Standing for 8–10 hours daily.
• Exposure to weld fumes, UV light, heat, and sparks.
• Full PPE required: welding helmet, gloves, and flame-resistant clothing.
