Job Description
Health, Hound, and Home Care, LLC is seeking a compassionate and reliable Senior Companion to provide meaningful support and care to an older adult in the Potomac, MD area. This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with seniors and understands the importance of connection, independence, conversation, and creating daily experiences that engage them.
Responsibilities include:
- Accompanying the client on walks and grocery shopping/ errands
- Providing transportation to and from doctors appointments or activities if needed
- Reading or participating in hobbies
- Preparing lunch and simple treats
- Providing light assistance with household organization and tidying/ laundry
- Communicating observations and updates with the client's family and care team
Ideal Candidate:
- Dependable, trustworthy, and responsible
- Has reliable transportation and a valid drivers license
- Previous experience with seniors, dementia, or caregiving is preferred
Position details:
- Hours flexible based on client needs
- Independent contractor position
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience
