JOB SUMMARY

Greeting guests arriving at and departing from the resort, providing prompt and friendly service with luggage from car to hotel check-in. shall escort guests to the room, providing information that will make their stay comfortable, safe, and enjoyable.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Provides prompt, friendly service to ensure guest satisfaction and return visits. 2. Promptly greets customers entering the resort, opening exterior resort doors and/or assisting with luggage removal from the car and carrying them to the front desk for check-in. 3. Escorts guests to accommodations, visually inspects rooms and points out room features. 4. Respond to guest inquiries, providing directions, information, and assistance as appropriate. 5. Deliver mail, packages, and other items to the guest room. 6. Responds to guests' request for assistance with luggage upon departure, moving luggage from room to vehicle or storage area. Handles delivery of group luggage upon request. 7. Maintain luggage carts, ensuring carts are clean, in good working condition, and easy access. 8. Maintain the luggage storage area organized, ensuring ease with storage and retrieval. 9. Cleans and maintains lobby area from debris, fingerprints, clutter on tables, etc. 10. Depending on staffing needs, may assist with utility, housekeeping, or valet staff duties as needed. 11. Comply with company regulations, codes, policies, and procedures. 12. Promote a safe workplace, appropriately using equipment and materials. If encountering a safety hazard, promptly mark off the area to prevent injury and notify the supervisor of concern. 13. Report any unusual situations or circumstances to the supervisor. 14. Other related duties as assigned.

ACCESS TO SENSITIVE AREAS:

1. Guest room when assisting guests.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Six months of guest service experience.
2. Excellent interpersonal skills.
3. High School Diploma or GED or 10 years of experience.
4. Professional appearance and manner.
5. Need to bend, lift, and maneuver bulky items up to 50 lbs., push a cart

containing up to 200 lbs., good auditory acuity to respond to verbal dialogue. 6. Requires a criminal history background check. 7. Must be at least 18 years of age.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Preferred must Possess a valid driver’s license with no history of motor vehicle-related citation or arrest conviction(s) within the last five (5) years in any state per WRC insurance requirements.
