We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Psychiatric Physician Assistant (PA) who is excited not only about providing excellent clinical care, but also about helping shape and grow the future of our medical program. The Opportunity This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building, collaborating, and thinking beyond traditional medication management. While direct client care will be an important part of the position, we are specifically seeking someone who is excited to contribute to program development, integrated care initiatives, and the continued growth of psychiatric services within a thriving mental health organization. This position begins part-time with the opportunity for future full-time growth as the program expands. What You'll Do Clinical Responsibilities Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric care Develop individualized treatment plans Collaborate closely with therapists, supervisors, and clinical leadership Participate in case consultation and interdisciplinary treatment planning Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation Provide thoughtful, evidence-based, relationship-centered care Program Development Responsibilities Help develop and refine Honey's psychiatric intake and assessment process Participate in building integrated care pathways between therapy and psychiatry Contribute to the development of new psychiatric and wellness services Support future specialty programming and treatment offerings Assist in creating systems, workflows, and processes that improve client experience and clinical outcomes Collaborate with leadership on the long-term vision for Honey's medical services Help shape a growing psychiatric program within a collaborative mental health organization Qualifications Required Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Psychiatric Physician Assistant (PA) Active Michigan licensure (or ability to obtain licensure prior to start) Two or more years of psychiatric clinical experience Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Commitment to ethical, client-centered care Comfort working within a growing and evolving program Preferred Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, or families Interest in integrated behavioral health and collaborative care models Experience participating in program development, leadership initiatives, or healthcare operations Areas of Interest We Value While not required, experience or interest in any of the following areas is welcomed: Women's mental health Maternal and perinatal mental health Family mental health including adolescent care Trauma-informed care Integrated behavioral health Collaborative care models Other emerging psychiatric interventions including Spravado and ketamine-assisted treatments Program development and clinical innovation Who You Are You may be a great fit if you: Enjoy collaborating with therapists and multidisciplinary teams Think entrepreneurially and enjoy helping build new programs Are energized by innovation and continuous improvement Value relationship-centered, client-focused care Are comfortable joining a growing program and helping shape its future Appreciate both clinical excellence and organizational growth Enjoy creating systems, refining processes, and improving the client experience Want to help build the future of integrated mental healthcare Compensation & Benefits Part-time W-2 employment with opportunity for future full-time growth Competitive compensation based on experience and scope of responsibilities Separate compensation opportunities available for program development, leadership, and administrative responsibilities Malpractice insurance provided consistent with Honey policies and employment status Administrative, billing, scheduling, and credentialing support Collaborative consultation with experienced clinical leadership Flexible scheduling Growth and leadership opportunities as the medical program expands Eligibility for additional benefits consistent with Honey policies and employment status Why Honey At Honey, we believe mental healthcare works best when providers collaborate, innovate, and remain deeply connected to the people they serve.
