Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description

Serving Starkville, MS drivers, HMD Trucking seeks experienced OTR solo CDL-A operators for nationwide dry van service. You’ll handle long-distance freight in late-model trucks with sleepers, APUs and inverters, supported by in-house maintenance. Compensation starts at 65¢/mile with typical weekly averages around 2,500 miles and bonus opportunities for safe driving, clean inspections and referrals.

What you’ll do:

• Operate safely across interstate lanes and meet delivery schedules.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs.
• Work closely with dispatch to optimize routes and on-time performance.
