Job Title: Fabricator Job Description

Join our dynamic Fabrication Department, where you will work primarily on agricultural-related products and various custom metal products. This role offers the chance to work in a brand-new facility, enhancing production and manufacturing capabilities. The ability to adapt and work efficiently across multiple departments will be highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist the main operator with loading/unloading parts and keeping the machines running.
• Operate fabrication equipment such as press brake, laser, drill, saw, and CNC machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints and symmetrical tolerances to ensure product specifications are met.
• Perform quality checks on fabricated materials and set machines based on material and product specifications.
• Communicate with various departments to ensure products are correctly positioned.
• Adhere to and support company policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate safety-conscious behavior and maintain excellent attendance.

Essential Skills

• 1+ years of experience in press brake, laser, saw, plasma, or other CNC production.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand symmetrical tolerances.
• Experience operating fabrication machinery, including bandsaw and press brake.
• Capability to lift over 50 lbs on a regular basis.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with operating overhead cranes, forklifts, and other industrial equipment.
• Skills in assembly, tape measure usage, and machine operation.
• Understanding of machine shop operations and measurement equipment.

Work Environment

This position operates in a shop environment with a schedule from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with weekly overtime opportunities. You will primarily work with one other operator but will assist in various departments as needed. Steel-toed boots are required for safety.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fargo, ND.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
