CNC Production Machining Technician -- Mills & Lathes

Join Our Livermore Team

We’re hiring experienced CNC professionals for immediate openings on 1st and 2nd shift in Livermore, CA. Roles are available across Horizontal Mills, Vertical Mills, CNC Lathes, and Mill-Turn Lathes.

Compensation varies with your skill level, years of experience, and the range of equipment you can set up and operate. Note: We do not have programming positions open at this time, though programming knowledge is a plus.

Work across multiple platforms—milling, turning, and mill-turn—for variety and growth.

You will handle

Selecting and mounting fixtures, attachments, and tooling to meet spec before cutting.
Coordinating with engineers and supervisors to align plans; proposing design tweaks when needed.
Adjusting speeds, feeds, tooling, and cutting strategies to meet precision requirements.
Monitoring the cut; making in-process corrections to prevent defects.
Managing machine temperatures with proper warm-up and cool-down; replacing coolant on schedule.
Reading and interpreting cutting plans; loading and adjusting them at the machine control to correct errors.
Conducting final part inspections for accuracy and consistency to maintain quality standards.
Performing daily/weekly/monthly maintenance: lubrication, cleaning, and tool changes.

Shifts & equipment

Immediate openings: 1st and 2nd shift.
Platforms: Horizontal Mills, Vertical Mills, CNC Lathes, Mill-Turn Lathes.

What you bring

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of CNC machine operation.
Competence with hand tools and machine upkeep.
Familiarity with CNC programming concepts and software interpretation.

Preferred

Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong commitment to precision and quality standards.
Ability to understand G-code.
