Guardian Glass is looking for a Tool Crib Attendant with a passion for safety to join our team in Richburg, SC! The Tool Crib Attendant is responsible for the inventory, storage, and distribution of tools, parts, and equipment used in production and maintenance.

Shift: Monday - Friday 6:30am -3:30pm

What You Will Do

• Inventory Control: Track the distribution of tools using ERP software, manage stock levels, and perform regular cycle counts.
• Tool Disbursement: Issue, receive, and inspect tools or calibrated measuring instruments to production and maintenance workers.
• Quality Assurance: Check returned tools for wear, defects, or damage. Determine if tools need sharpening, repair, or disposal.
• Setup & Kitting: Prepare tooling into job-specific kits and assist machinists with CNC tool pre-setting and measuring if required.
• Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe, orderly work area and ensure that all equipment complies with environmental and safety standards.
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods and regularly lift up to 50 lbs, combined with the willingness to wear required PPE (e.g., safety glasses, steel-toed boots).

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Basic computer proficiency, familiarity with inventory management software

What Will Put You Ahead

• 1 - 3 years of inventory management or manufacturing/machining experience
