Facility Cox Barton County Hospital 29 NW 1st Lane, Lamar, Missouri, United States of America, 64759 Department 1533 Med Surg Barton Schedule 36 scheduled weekly hours, Night Shift (6:40 PM - 7:10 AM) Job Description The Medical‑Surgical nurse is responsible for managing the care of adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients experiencing general medical conditions or general surgical procedures. The nurse must be able to assess patient condition, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, keep records, and provide patients and families with support and education. The Medical‑Surgical nurse maintains a wide array of medical care knowledge to care for a diverse group of patients.
